Default 2016 Lexus IS200t F Sport Eminent White Pearl - 8 Hours Exterior Detail

I had the pleasure detailing the exterior of this 2016 Lexus IS200t F Sport Eminent White Pearl. This was a 8 hours exterior detail. The Lexus IS200t Eminent White Pearl came in good condition. Dealer and customer kept the swirling at a minimum. The CQuartz Finest V6 Ceramic Quartz Paint Coating was applied.

My process and products used are listed below. Well enjoy the pics of the exterior detail of this Eminent White Pearl 2016 Lexus IS200t F Sport. All of the pics and video were taken with the Apple iPhone 6S smart phone.

Wash Step:

1. Wash vehicle down with the CarPro Reset using the 2 bucket method with Grit Guards using the CarPro Merino Wool Wash Mitt. Rinsed off with the M-T-M 1450 psi pressure washer. Dried with PakShak 25" x 36" ultra-soft waffle weave micro fiber towels and Master Blaster 8 HP blower.

2. Decontaminated the vehicle using the Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay with the Nanoskin Glide Clay Lubricant to remove the above surface contaminants on all painted surfaces. CarPro Iron X was used to decontaminate the vehicle to remove below surface contaminants. All horizontal surfaces received two (2) applications of Iron X.

3. Cleaned the wheels with the Tuga Wheel Cleaner with a Race Glaze Swiss Style Wheel Brush. Pressured washed wheels. The tires were cleaned with the PRO Frank's Special Cleaner diluted 1:5 with the PakShak short bristle tire brush. Pressure washed tires and wheel wells.

4. Door jambs cleaned with the CarPro Tar X.

Polish Step:

1. Polishing/Finishing: Rupes BigFoot LHR 15ES random orbital polisher set at 4-5 on the speed dial with the Rupes 5" Polishing Pads and the CarPro Essence: EXTREME Gloss Primer. Rupes Mini LHR 75E random orbital polisher set at 4-5 on the speed dial with the Rupes 3" yellow polishing pads for tight areas (A pillar, bumpers, engine lid) and the CarPro Essence: EXTREME Gloss Primer. All polishing/finishing steps completed 3-4 passes with CarPro Essence: EXTREME Gloss Primer.

2. Wash the vehicle with CarPro Reset Intensive Shampoo with the CarPro Merino Wool Wash Mitt. Dried the vehicle with the PakShak 25" x 36" ultra-soft waffle weave micro fiber towels.

Paint Coating (LSP) Step:

1. CQuartz Finest V6 Ceramic Quartz Paint Coating applied by hand with the CarPro applicator block and 4"x 4" suede micro fiber cloths. Within 10-15 minutes of flashing, lightly buffed with CarPro 16" x 16" edgeless plush micro fiber towels and followed by the PakShak 16" x 16" "Shave Ice" ultra-plush micro fiber towels.

2. After 1 hour applied the 2nd coat of CQuartz Finest V6 Ceramic Quartz Paint Coating over the 1st coat. Within 10-15 minutes of flashing, lightly buffed with CarPro 16" x 16" edgeless plush micro fiber towels and followed by the PakShak 16" x 16" "Shave Ice" ultra-plush micro fiber towels.

3. Using the Infratech Infrared Curing Lamp each panel got 10-15 minutes of infrared heat after the 2nd coat of CQuartz Finest V6 Ceramic Quartz Paint Coating.

Final Steps:

1. Dressed tires with CarPro PERL concentrated tressing with a Meguiar's 4" yellow foam applicator pad.

2. Wheels protected with CarPro CQuartz DLUX Plastic & Wheel Semi-Permanent Coating with CarPro 4" x 4" suede micro fiber cloths.

3. All the chrome (decals/badges) were cleaned with Optimum Power Clean diluted 1:3. Then protected with the CQuartz FINEST V6 Nanotech Ceramic Paint Coating using a 4" x 4" suede micro fiber towels.

4. All exterior windows cleaned using the 1Z Einszett Windscreen Clear and PakShak 16" x 16" waffle weave glass towel. Coated windshield (2 coats) and all other windows (1 coat) with CarPro FlyBly Forte.

5. Door jambs protected with CarPro Reload Silica Spray Sealant using PakShak 16" x 16" "Shave Ice" ultra-plush micro fiber towels.

Afters:

Thank you & Aloha,
Ranney

Very nice Ranney. Didn't realize that Perl left so much shine on the tires. Was that just one coat?
