Default Pet Peeves...detailing or otherwise

Aloha all...

What are some of your pet peeves? I'll start with some of mine.

- It rains the next day after detailing my car
- After drying the vehicle, I see a water drip mark down the door
- Kids bringing sand in to the car...lucky I have weather floor mats. I have tried to vacuum sand from carpets before and oh boy.

Thank you & Aloha,
Ranney

I hear you Ranney, picked up a Milwa**** cordless vac from HD. Also got 2 Red 18v Red Lithium Ion Batt. And charger. Strong suction tried it out on stairs and did great job , charge takes about 1 hr on a fully discharged batt, reading reviews should have work time of 12-14 hrs. Don't have to drag ext. chords

Water drips after drying. I really don't have much, as I enjoy cleaning my car.

The time it takes to do an excellent job
When you drop the clay bar and have to throw it away
When forget to dry out the lugnut area and you see water sitting
bird stains, fine scratches you can only see under certain night time lights.

What I like: Weekly car washing with the foamer, pakshak provides great products at an affordable price, and the look you get when you go to a dealer for the yearly mxs and they can't believe your car looks newer then the cars on the lot.

- I seem to be a good forecast for rain, it seems to typically happen after I detail my car
- Dents
- Deep scratches, especially when you see it happen. Driving home from work and out of no where I see this 2" x 2" road debris and lands on the hood...creating a dent and a deep gash

On a positive note, could all be fixed

Aloha Slack Tide...

That is the City of Beads. Nice! Tight and shaped like a dome...just the way I like them.

Thank you & Aloha,
Ranney

How about when you buy a new car and try to park carefully. Then when you come back you have a door ding or paint chip. Horrible.

Aloha All,

I think this falls under the otherwise: When they see your car and ask all kinds of questions about detailing products that you use, then they ask the million dollar question, how much. Then they go off on how expensive it is then about a year later, they ask what was the products names I'm using again. Then I get to give them the last words, "Go To Pak Shak".
