Default Color Blind Drivers

Aloha Folks,
Well it finally happened, yup, it had to sooner or later. I finally got into a fender bender. The lady (other driver) did a Hollywood Stop and got my left front fender and also damaged my front steering suspension. And she says she didn't see me. And the police officer that was called to the scene is my neighbor across the street I live on (what a small world). Oh yea, it was a late model Mercedes that hit me. I must say my insurance was fast in getting me a rental and Kuroda's Auto Body is busy so they won't be able to touch my car until the second week of next month. But that's OK, I heard that they are good in the auto body business.
As for the other driver, her Mercedes only got her right front bumper smudged. She also was taking pictures and I know what her husband is going to say, "you mean you didn't see that?".
But the main thing here is that nobody got hurt and ended up in the hospital. It was just bad luck that a color blind driver collided into me (YUK!).

Sorry to hear that your baby got zapped. Kuroda might do excellent body work, but I wouldn't let them wash her. But then again, a month in a body shop..break out the buffer.

Ouch! Just be sure to double check with a fine tooth comb after the repair.

Busters Auto Body in the Ward area repaired my vehicle and their work SUCKS. The dealership made their recommendation. Pig-tail scratches, holograms up the ying yang, poorly adjusted door, sagging weather stripping, and to top it all off, a nice dent in the door sill.

Aloha Sora...all I can say is "unbelievable". I feel for you because I know you have taken great care of your vehicle and it showed. Well I think the other driver thought your car was the STOP sign. Literally stop at the sign or in this case in the sign. Probably on the telephone or texting while driving. I'm glad you were able to walk away from the accident. I too have heard positive feedbacks about Kuroda's Auto Body.

Aloha anonymoususer...sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the repairs on your vehicle. I have never heard of Busters Auto Body but I wonder why they have the word "Busters" in their name...hummmmmmm. Hope you can remedy the post issues now your left to fix.

Good advice to Sora about double checking the auto body shops work with a fine tooth comb after the repair.

Thank you & Aloha,
Ranney

Busters has been around for a long time (50+years). He did work for me for a long time. I had a 350SL Benz that he painted with 15 coats of lacquer all hand sanded between coats. I'm sure he's retired by now and his son has taken over. They had a good reputation, but that was the old man.

Even makes me want to cry. I guess I won't be seeing a red glow coming from next to the paint shop for a while.

Thank you for the kind words guys, Kuroda's is taking my car on the 4th of next month and should be ready in seven working days. I'll make sure I bring along my magnifying glass.
