yeah that's true man. Can't really pick and choose and complain. What ever he wants done is cool as long as he pays for it. If he told me he wanted it swirl free we might have a issue LoL.

Based off your pics, they look pretty good. I would probably use a PC or something RO with a Orange pad or milder with Heavy Metal blue or something similar.

Not sure if you posted it up on the forums or not but i'll double check. $550 seems like a pretty fair deal. I was actually thinking a little more then that but we shall see tomorrow. If i have to make two trips up to his house which is about 40 minutes each way that's time and gas for sure.

I heard Heavy Metal was good. My old buddy had some and at the time i wasn't impressed but i didn't know much back then as this was like 4+ years ago.

You got some extra bottles you want to unload is that what you are saying?

I wouldn't mind checking out the GB for the new stuff coming out. Mx7 is good but sometimes something a little more aggressive is required.
It was actually a semi-truck but exterior only for that price. Took 3 guys and about 12 hours.

Heavy metal is very good. Not thick and messy and you dont have to use a lot of product. I think if you needed something heavier cutting you would probably have to go the polishing stick route. Those bars of polish and misc polishing wheels.

I probably do a group buy in the next month or so. We'll see.

i got some polishing wheels and the polishing rouge bars but my electric drill isn't strong enough or doesn't spin fast enough to heat up those bars to get the product onto the wheels so it has been pretty useless for right now.

So now that you mention that you charged $550 for just the exterior i retract my previous statement in which i said that sounds a little low.

I know it's a lot of work from what i seen today but at the same time i would hate to scare him off with to high of a price.

Hey Tys,

What are you proposing for maintenance? Monthly @ what price? The reason I ask, is depending on what that cost is, he may decide to forgo the monthly maintenance and just have you "detail" his truck as needed (1-2x a year). Maybe give a nice discount if he prepays for the whole year. To me it seems like he would be a good client/referral to have b/c his truck stands out in a big way. People are bound to ask him about it and he could potentially pass along your contact info. I hope you get the green light. It didn't look too bad, but pictures don't also show the full story. I know you'll make it shine though. Better put on your shades.
